Weathered rock outside, a stepped retreat within. Silent View Cave has an open observation side designed to face your enclosure glass, allowing a view into its sheltered levels while the rock-textured exterior blends into the habitat.

Approximate external width × depth × height from the supplied models. Entrance clearance and usable interior space are smaller than the overall dimensions; choose a size suitable for your animal.

Colours

First choose a finish (Basic, Matte, Marble, Metal-Like or Glow-in-the-Dark), then pick a colour from that finish. Metal-Like includes our Galaxy, Sparkly and Metallic colours. There are 75 PETG colours in total, and the colour charts at the end of the photos show each one. Want something that is not listed? Contact us and we will try to source it.

Use and care

Place the open observation face against suitable enclosure glass, with side entrances accessible. The enclosure pane forms the viewing side; no separate glass panel is supplied. Check the passage clearances for your animal, set securely on a stable surface and hand wash gently.

Good to know

• Anchoring in an aquarium: Bond the base to a flat stone or acrylic sheet with aquarium-safe silicone, or with hot glue or cyanoacrylate superglue specifically suitable for aquarium use. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s surface preparation and full curing instructions before placing it in the aquarium.
• Where the design allows, small holes through the underside into enclosed air pockets can let water in and air out, reducing buoyancy. Only add air-release holes where the structure permits.
• Measure the inside of your enclosure before ordering, and leave a little room for installation.
• Some photos show hand-painted examples. This piece ships unpainted in your selected filament colour.
