A hand-painted background styled after an ancient Aztec temple complex, with weathered stone detail that brings a primeval, ruined-temple atmosphere to a terrarium.

At a glance

  • Size: 18.5 x 9 x 18.5 cm (7.5 x 2.4 x 7.5 in), length x depth x height.
  • Material: PETG, made for aquariums and terrariums. Resists water, humidity and heat lamps.
  • Floats: PETG is buoyant. In an aquarium this piece needs anchoring or weighting.
  • Safety: PETG is deemed safe for plants, fish, insects, reptiles and animals.
  • Finish: hand-painted one-of-a-kind piece, ships exactly as shown.
  • Made to order: ships within 7 business days.
  • Free shipping: free delivery to Canada, the US and select European countries. Duties and import fees to Canada and the US are prepaid by us.

Details

  • A small central temple with stairs and a framed entrance, surrounded by carved masks, sun disks, animal motifs and Aztec-style ornaments.
  • Uneven, highly structured surface with many ledges, levels and caves for climbing and basking.
  • Small niches, caves and passages serve as hiding and retreat spots.

Where it works

Tropical, semi-tropical and desert terrariums for geckos, small lizards and frogs, as well as freshwater aquariums, nano and shrimp tanks, vivariums, paludariums, amphibian and invertebrate enclosures, and tabletop gaming or D&D terrain.

Good to know

  • To anchor it in an aquarium, glue it to a flat stone or acrylic sheet with hot glue or superglue, or bed it in with aquarium-safe silicone. Drilling a few small holes in the base also lets water in and reduces buoyancy.
  • Measure the inside of your enclosure before ordering, and leave a little room for installation.

Quality and care

Printed slowly at high resolution with thick walls, so it is sturdier than most printed decor. Fine layer lines and small variations are normal and make each piece unique. PETG is non-toxic and easy to clean with soap or alcohol. Colours can look slightly different on screen.

Delivery times

Your piece is printed after you order it and ships within 7 business days. That part is our guarantee. Everything below is the carrier's, and starts the day your parcel ships rather than the day you order.

We use recognized, tracked carriers on every route, to every region. Once a parcel leaves our workshop it is in the carrier's hands, so delays caused by the carrier, by customs or by weather are outside our control and we cannot be held responsible for them. If a parcel stalls, contact us and we will chase it with you.

  • Canada: 2 to 8 business days after shipping, through local delivery partners. This service does not deliver to PO boxes.
  • United States: 2 to 6 business days after shipping. A customs broker clears the shipment, usually the next business day after it reaches a branch, and it crosses the border within two business days. United States territories, Alaska, Hawaii and military addresses (APO and FPO) can take up to 20 business days.
  • International: 5 to 22 business days after shipping, with full tracking.
