A web of arching roots surrounds a hollow central trunk, with stacked openings and a broad side ledge. Mangrove Root Caves brings layered passages and sculpted wood texture to your enclosure, creating a low woodland focal point among plants and substrate.

Need a different size? The listed sizes are convenient standard options, not the limits of what we can make. Many designs can be resized in width, height and depth, and their proportions can be adjusted to better fit your enclosure. Small dimensional changes often do not materially affect the price; custom pricing depends on the final dimensions, material use and print time. Colours

First choose a finish (Basic, Matte, Marble, Metal-Like or Glow-in-the-Dark), then pick a colour from that finish. Metal-Like includes our Galaxy, Sparkly and Metallic colours. There are 75 PETG colours in total, and the colour charts at the end of the photos show each one. Want something that is not listed? Contact us and we will try to source it.

Good to know

  • Anchoring in an aquarium: Bond the base to a flat stone or acrylic sheet with aquarium-safe silicone, or with hot glue or cyanoacrylate superglue specifically suitable for aquarium use. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s surface preparation and full curing instructions before placing it in the aquarium. Where the design allows, a few small holes through the underside into enclosed air pockets let water in and air out, reducing buoyancy.
  • Measure the inside of your enclosure before ordering, and leave a little room for installation. Choose dimensions and openings suited to the animals you keep.
  • Some photos show hand-painted examples. This piece ships unpainted in your selected filament colour.

Shipping, duties and returns

  • Free shipping to Canada, the United States and select European countries.
  • Canada and the United States: we prepay all duties, tariffs and import fees. The price at checkout is your final price, with nothing to pay on delivery.
  • United Kingdom, Europe and the rest of the world: import VAT, duties or a carrier handling fee may be charged on delivery, depending on your country.
  • Returns: Unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Contact us first and we will send you a return label. Outbound and return shipping are deducted from your refund. Damaged or defective items are replaced or refunded at no cost. See our Refund Policy for details.

Delivery times

Your piece is printed after you order it and ships within 7 business days. That part is our guarantee. Everything below is the carrier's, and starts the day your parcel ships rather than the day you order.

We use recognized, tracked carriers on every route, to every region. Once a parcel leaves our workshop it is in the carrier's hands, so delays caused by the carrier, by customs or by weather are outside our control and we cannot be held responsible for them. If a parcel stalls, contact us and we will chase it with you.

  • Canada: 2 to 8 business days after shipping, through local delivery partners. This service does not deliver to PO boxes.
  • United States: 2 to 6 business days after shipping. A customs broker clears the shipment, usually the next business day after it reaches a branch, and it crosses the border within two business days. United States territories, Alaska, Hawaii and military addresses (APO and FPO) can take up to 20 business days.
  • International: 5 to 22 business days after shipping, with full tracking.
