A 3D background of sloping rock cliffs that brings movement and depth to a terrarium or aquarium. The layered, gently inclined rock plates look as if they were shaped by wind and water over millennia.

The tiered terraces and ledges give animals climbing surfaces, resting places and small niches, passages and corners to hide in, so the wall is a working part of the habitat as well as a lifelike backdrop.

Details

• Well suited to species that benefit from structured, three-dimensional backgrounds, such as bearded dragons, geckos (for example leopard and tokay geckos), corn snakes, tree frogs and smaller climbing turtles.
• Looks even more natural with live or artificial plants, moss or vines, and substrate and stones in a similar tone.
• Use lighting, including UV and heat lamps, to create shadow and natural sun effects on the ledges.
• Also works as terrain for fantasy tabletop games.

Good to know

• To anchor it in an aquarium, glue it to a flat stone or acrylic sheet with hot glue or superglue, or bed it in with aquarium-safe silicone. Drilling a few small holes in the base also lets water in and reduces buoyancy.
• Measure the inside of your enclosure before ordering, and leave a little room for installation.
• Some photos show hand-painted examples. This piece ships unpainted.

Colours

First choose a finish (Basic, Matte, Marble, Sparkly/Galaxy/Metallic or Glow-in-the-Dark), then pick a colour from that finish. Sparkly/Galaxy/Metallic includes our Galaxy, Sparkly and Metallic colours. There are 89 PETG colours in total, and the colour charts at the end of the photos show each one. Quality and care

Printed slowly at high resolution with thick walls, so it is sturdier than most printed decor. Fine layer lines and small variations are normal and make each piece unique. PETG is non-toxic and easy to clean with soap or alcohol. Colours can look slightly different on screen.
