Ready to use, install or paint. Your piece is 3D printed in your chosen filament colour and supplied unpainted. Enjoy it as it is or paint it to create your own finish.

This artful, tree-shaped miniature structure looks like a magical treehouse from a fantasy world. It has a single rooted trunk with several winding pathways, small platform bowls for moss or plants, and tiny turreted houses built into the trunk.

In a terrarium it works as a decorative highlight with functional touches: micro-hideouts for springtails or isopods, climbing surfaces for small invertebrates, and structure for a naturalistic layout.

Details

  • Thick, weathered trunk with several platform bowls for moss or small plants.
  • Small turreted houses built into the trunk, connected by fine winding stairs.
  • Works well for microfauna such as isopods and springtails, small beetles, baby stick insects and young mantids.

Where it works

Freshwater and nano aquariums, shrimp and betta tanks, terrariums, vivariums and paludariums, reptile, amphibian and invertebrate enclosures, naturalistic builds, and tabletop gaming, D&D and wargaming scenery, and insect habitats.

Colours

First choose a finish (Basic, Matte, Marble, Sparkly/Galaxy/Metallic or Glow-in-the-Dark), then pick a colour from that finish. Sparkly/Galaxy/Metallic includes our Galaxy, Sparkly and Metallic colours. There are 89 PETG colours in total, and the colour charts at the end of the photos show each one. Want something that is not listed? Contact us and we will try to source it.

Quality and care

Printed slowly at high resolution with thick walls, so it is sturdier than most printed decor. Fine layer lines and small variations are normal and make each piece unique. PETG is non-toxic and easy to clean with soap or alcohol. Colours can look slightly different on screen.

Good to know

  • Anchoring in an aquarium: Bond the base to a flat stone or acrylic sheet with aquarium-safe silicone, or with hot glue or cyanoacrylate superglue specifically suitable for aquarium use. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s surface preparation and full curing instructions before placing it in the aquarium. Do not drill through bowls, planting pockets, water reservoirs or other functional parts. If a separate nonfunctional enclosed air pocket can be safely identified underneath, small holes may allow water in and air out.
  • Measure the inside of your enclosure before ordering, and leave a little room for installation.
  • Some photos show hand-painted examples. This piece ships unpainted.

Delivery times

Your piece is printed after you order it and ships within 7 business days. That part is our guarantee. Everything below is the carrier's, and starts the day your parcel ships rather than the day you order.

We use recognized, tracked carriers on every route, to every region. Once a parcel leaves our workshop it is in the carrier's hands, so delays caused by the carrier, by customs or by weather are outside our control and we cannot be held responsible for them. If a parcel stalls, contact us and we will chase it with you.

  • Canada: 2 to 8 business days after shipping, through local delivery partners. This service does not deliver to PO boxes.
  • United States: 2 to 6 business days after shipping. A customs broker clears the shipment, usually the next business day after it reaches a branch, and it crosses the border within two business days. United States territories, Alaska, Hawaii and military addresses (APO and FPO) can take up to 20 business days.
  • International: 5 to 22 business days after shipping, with full tracking.
